Thinking out loud...

The Start of a Musical Voyage

Last night I was at a local pub having a deeply philosophical conversation with a fellow teacher over the need for self-advocacy in certain subject areas.  He said that he used intrinsic motivation to keep him going, that it was drive to do his best for his students and his subject that kept him going... and his website.  What? A website?  Later that night, I went to Andy's website and was amazed at how professional and uplifting it was.  Andy is not only a great advocate for PYP music, but he is helping PYP Phys.Ed. teachers throughout the world by providing valuable resources and advice.  It inspired me.  Looking through my computer, I was happy to find that I had a variety of resources that I, too, could share. And so I've started this website.  This is my first blog posting.

Amazing website, so informative. I am in the first leg of the IB journey...overwhelmed is an understatement! I have learned quite a bit just with your website. We love recorder karate, works wonders here as well. Would you send me the Learner Profile posters via email? Thank you. I will check back often. Nice work!

Thanks so much for that! I will definitely send you those posters. Could you please send me your email address using the "Chatter" page on this site? And let me know if you have any other questions or comments and I'll do my best to either answer or get you an answer. Cheers, Amy.

Thanks Amy, have had time to check your site out and it provides the support I'm looking for. It's inspiring to know that we are all in this together. I had great news today in that one of the new teachers arriving in August is a French Horn player.....just what I need!! You make your own luck!
